Featuring selected CSU affiliated start-up companies and a poster showcase highlighting innovation and entrepreneurship.

1-2pm Networking and NSF I-Corps Panel
The NSF I-Corps Panel will delve into its role in assessing the market potential of scientific research and inventions. The discussion will feature insights from CSU NSF I-Corps participants, entrepreneurs, and the NSF I-Corps national instructor.

2 - 3pm Demo Day Awards
CSU STRATA will highlight the CSU faculty, staff, and students that have engaged in commercialization within the past year. This will include recognizing individuals that have been granted US patents, had technologies licensed, and launched new companies, and also awarding the Showcase awards.

3-3:30pm Keynote
Babur Ozden and Marcus Martinez will be the Innovate CSU Day keynote speakers beginning at 3 p.m. The dynamic team will share the story of how Martinez’s CSU graduate project became the basis for a highly competitive venture in the inaugural Chevron Studio Program cohort. Martinez, Aquanta Vision Product Systems Engineer and technology inventor, and Ozden, serial entrepreneur and Aquanta Vision CEO, have created a team that is working towards a successful commercial release of a software app, NetxteN. The software will make detecting methane leaks in billions of industrial components around the world easy and feasible.

Hosted by the Institute for Entrepreneurship. Stay for the business pitch competition and see how students flex their entrepreneurship muscles competing for $10,000 in cash awards!
